Premium Midfielders

These are the premium Midfielders you should target based on how they are projected to do in the group stages.

K. De Bruyne

12.5 M | midfielder | Belgium
  • Belgium’s all-time assist leader, the current favorite for the “Player of the Tournament” award, and he has 6 goals and 11 assists in his last 12 games for them.

R. Sterling

12.0 M | midfielder | England
  • One of England’s best players during the qualifiers and with 12 goals and 10 assists in his last 16 games he’s definitely one to watch.

S. Gnabry

8.8 M | midfielder | Germany
  • Gnabry has become a prominent player for both club and country in reason years - and with 15 goals, and 6 assists in 20 games for Germany he should be on everyone’s watchlist.

B. Fernandes

8.9 M | midfielder | Portugal
  • Bruno Fernandes’s ability to slice open a defence coupled with Portugal’s goalscoring prowess makes him an obvious fantasy pick.

. F. Torres

8.9 M | midfielder | Spain
  • Classified as a midfielder but often used us as a wing-forward up top which saw him bag a hat-trick against Germany in November - and recently also one for Man City against Newcastle.

P. Foden

8.9 M | midfielder | England
  • This has been Foden’s breakthrough season for Man City after playing 48 games and being directly involved in 25 goals.
  • He has also scored twice and set up 2 goals in his last 4 games for England and if he gets the nod this summer he’s definitely one to watch.

M. Mount

8.5 M | midfielder | England
  • Chelsea’s player of the year and one of Southgate’s favorites. He has 2 goals and an assist in his last 4 games for England and should play regularly this summer.

M. Depay

8.5 M | midfielder | Netherlands
  • Netherlands most prolific player during their qualifying campaign where he scored 6 and provided 8 assists.

L. Sané

8.3 M | midfielder | Germany
  • Sané has become a regular starter for Germany in recent years and has returned an impressive 6 goals and 3 assists in his last 13 games.

M. Oyarzabal

8.4 M | midfielder | Spain
  • A front figure on the wing for Real Sociedad this season with 11 goals, and 8 assists to his name.

L. Insigne

8.1 M | midfielder | Italy
  • Insigne has 1 goal and 5 assist in his last 7 games for Italy but he’s also competing with Chiesa, Bernadeschi, and Beradi for a spot on the wing which isn’t ideal.

F. Chiesa

7.9 M | midfielder | Italy
  • Chiesa has been one of Juventus’s best players this season, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists and he’ll be determined to take that form into the EUROS - if he starts.

J. Kimmich

8.1 M | midfielder | Germany
  • Arguably the best No. 6 in the world and with 5 goals and 14 assists for Bayern this season he could be a difference-maker for both Germany and the fantasy managers willing to back him.

. B. Silva

8.0 M | midfielder | Portugal
  • One of the most prolific players during Portugal’s qualifiers where he scored 3 and provided 6 assists.

X. Shaqiri

7.0 M | midfielder | Switzerland
  • Switzerland’s main talisman and a potential difference-maker for his country this summer.
  • He hasn’t played much for Liverpool this season so question marks remain over his match form - but if you can live with that, then you get the most prolific player currently playing for Switzerland with a record of 23 international goals and 24 assists.

C. Eriksen

7.0 M | midfielder | Denmark
  • Eriksen has been directly involved in 59 goals in 106 appearances for Denmark (36G, 23A) - so it’s no surprise that he’s often regarded as their most important player.

S. Berghuis

6.5 M | midfielder | Netherlands
  • Berghuis has managed 17 goals and 13 assists in the Eredivisie this season and should feature on the right-hand side of Netherland’s front three.

A. Yarmolenko

6.3 M | midfielder | Ukraine
  • There are still fitness concerns surrounding Yarmolenko but if he’s fit to play he’ll be one of the obvious attacking picks from Ukraine.
  • Yarmolenko has scored the second-most goals for his country (38) with only Shevchenko having more (48) - and he’s reached that milestone in 19 games fewer.

G. Bale

6.2 M | midfielder | Wales
  • Bale is Wales’s all-time leading goalscorer and he’s been a talismanic figure for the team for more than a decade now - if he turns up, Wales could cause another Euro shock.

Value Midfielders

These are the value Midfielders you should target based on how they are projected to do in the group stages.

H. Wilson

5.5 M | midfielder | Wales
  • Classified as a midfielder but has recently also been deployed as a false-nine which in itself could make him worth targeting along with his price point.
  • He has 2 goals in his last 3 games for Wales, including one against Belgium.

M. Sabitzer

5.6 M | midfielder | Austria
  • Sabitzer has switched between playing as a central attacking midfielder and up front along with Arnautoivc in recent international breaks.
  • He was key to Austria’s qualification after scoring 2 goals and setting up 5 and we know how important he is for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

T. Soucek

5.1 M | midfielder | Czech Republic
  • He’s been instrumental to West Ham finishing in the top half of the Premier League this season - and with 4 goals in his last 4 games for the Czech Republic he’s worth keeping an eye on.

D. James

5.0 M | midfielder | Wales
  • Part of Wales attacking front three and could use his pace to cause trouble for his opponents which he has done recently after scoring 3 goals and setting up one in his last 3 games for Wales.
